As of right now, the 2015 Ford Mustang will come with three engine options: a 3.7-liter V6, 2.3-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost and a 5.0-liter V8. The EcoBoost option is completely brand new for the pony car, and a great number of Ford drivers are excited about the gas-saving option. The EcoBoost will allow for drivers of the new 2015 Ford Mustang to have all the power that the vehicle is known for without guzzling gas.
Ford wants to continue the great work that's been made with the EcoBoost option and provide Ford drivers with even more green alternatives. That's why Ford is considering producing other versions of the new Mustang that will have diesel, hybrid or electric options. If Ford introduces these green options in the Mustang lineup, the pony car will be leaps and bounds ahead of other muscle cars on the market when it comes to fuel-efficiency. As of right now, the 2015 Ford Mustang is the most economical Mustang that Ford has produced.
