    The 2015 Ford Mustang was a big hit at the SEMA Show this year. According to an article in Autoblog, "The extensive display included a range of Mustangs from mild to wild, with everything from a 600-plus horsepower King Cobra, to paint-and-wheel packages. The new regal Cobra, which we spied early in our SEMA adventure this year, may not be the replacement for the Cobra Jet as we speculated, but it does seem to point the way forward for the next iteration of a supreme Ford dragster. Fat drag slicks out back make its reason for being abundantly clear, and Ford tells us that modded car is good for a 10.97-second quarter-mile run."

2014 NAIAS Display Shows How "Ford Goes Further"

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich - A 66,167 square foot display complete with 82 vehicles, new technology, and customer interactive exhibits at the 2014 NAIAS, Shows How "Ford Goes Further" according to Dan Tillapaugh, Global Auto Show Operations Manager for Ford.

Ford's display at the 2014 North American International Auto Show is complete with a 37.5-ton piece F-150 assembly line and a new upper-level exhibit to recognize 50 years of Mustang success. This year, more than ever before, consumers are able to interact with the Ford Motor Company display. Each exhibit broadcasts the strength and quality of the new products.

"The Future of Tough" presentation features a assembly line, taking visitors through each stage of production of the F-150. Ford is looking to show customers the lengths that Ford engineers had to go to in order to create such a smart, tough, and capable truck.

"50 Years of Mustang"is in the upper-level exhibit, where the Mustang will be recognize for the greatness it has brought to automotive industry. The iconic pony car is honored with various cultural and historical artifacts, as well as references to the Mustang's influence in fashion, film, food, and fun throughout the last 50 years. Revell® is providing young Mustang lovers with the first Mustang Model Kit, while supplies last.

There is a live engagement presentation and film, as well as an ST area that with racing simulators. Two people can race head-on in a virtual course where their times can be recorded and posted to their social networks!

Just a few days after the new Ford Mustang, which is loaded with innovative technologies and world-class levels of performance, was revealed around the world, it now appears in the garage of cars available to drive on the "Need for Speed Rivals" video game.

The Mustang has been featured as a playable car in this video game franchise since 2005 and has continued to make a huge impact on various aspects of pop culture. The Mustang has made thousands of appearances in movies, television, music, and is the world's most-liked vehicle on Facebook. Need for Speed players are also able to give the Ford Shelby GT500 a spin in the video game, which is available as a police chase car.

Ford worked closely with the EA development team when engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before it debuted to the rest of the world. Ford to Consider Diesel, Hybrid and Electric Options for New Mustang

ST.CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - In today's world, car companies are expected to offer green options to their customers so that they can drive vehicles that are fuel-efficient and good for the environment. Ford in particular knows that this is what is best for customers and the world we live in, which is why it is always seeking out new ways to improve fuel economy or eliminate the use of gasoline altogether. When it comes to the 2015 Ford Mustang, their thinking of a greener drive is the same. That's why Ford is considering diesel, hybrid and electric options for the new Mustang.

2015 Ford Mustang Revealed

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - Christmas has come early for pony car lovers since the 2015 Ford Mustang has finally been revealed! Ford held debut events across the globe for the new 2015 version, and millions scrambled to their computers to get the first look - here it is:

The new design, first revealed this week, features a long, sculpted hood and a short rear deck - a design slightly reminiscent of the mid-1960s Mustang. In fact, designers have admitted that while they tore the vehicle apart and completely redesigned every aspect, they didn't want to lose the pony car's history. That's why they kept a few of the styling cues from the 60's iconic car while also making the lines more modern and smooth. Let's pause for a second and admire the Mustang's beauty:

Continuing on - Along with the sculpted hood, Ford has moved the headlights forwards and the entire cabin back. Pushing the cabin back has resulted in a longer hood and a shorter end. The wheels are 20mm on each side of the vehicle and the vehicle itself sits lower and wider than it has in previous years.

The interior of the new pony car is made to feel luxurious and comfortable. In the double-brow dash you'll find large round gauges, toggled switches, and a symmetrical instrument panel. You'll also notice the premium materials used to create the inside of the cabin, as Ford designers used only the best aluminum, leather and metal.

As for what can be found underneath the pony car’s hood, Mustang buyers will have three engines to choose from with an updated version of the current 3.7-liter V6 that produces 300 HP, a 5.0-liter V8 that put outs 420 HP and a brand new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. The EcoBoost option is perfect for those looking to take advantage of the Mustang power without sacrificing fuel economy, as it will produce 305+ HP while getting projected class-leading fuel efficiency – talk about the whole package!

We are so excited about the reveal of the 2015 Ford Mustang and all the information that has come out about this fantastic muscle car. Even with all the information available to us about the 2015 Ford Mustang, there are still a few specifics we're waiting to here about, such as if this new model is in fact 200 pounds lighter than the current model, what the EPA ratings will be for this vehicle, etc. As soon as we find out more information, we'll pass our knowledge on to you!

Leaked 2015 Ford Mustang Details

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - We recently announced that the 2015 Ford Mustang would be debuting in December - four months earlier than previously thought - but now leaked 2015 Ford Mustang details have been spreading rapidly across the internet. 

Starting with the bodywork - the dimensions will be slightly smaller than the predecessor, as it is taking styling cues from other Ford vehicles such as the Ford Fusion and the Ford Evos concept from the 2011 Frankfurt show. A pair of large vents can be seen on the front of the hood; the rear window is smaller and extends from the roof in a peak formation; and the side windows appear to be more closely aligned.

The interior is a perfect mixture of retro and modern, with two large, tubular gauges located in front of the driver, circular air vents that sit atop the center stack, and a rectangular duct that sits on either side. The center stack will offer either the traditional stereo or the MyFord Touch - available for the first time in the Ford Mustang. Due to previous complications with the technology, Ford has replaced a lot of the virtual controls with actual buttons and knobs, while also evolving the technology to be more efficient. Ambient lighting will continue to be available in the Mustang, but it will spread beyond the dials, cup holders, etc. to the rest of the vehicle's cabin.

Now for the part we've been waiting for: the powertrain. A naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V-6 and the "Coyote" 5-liter V-8 engine will continue to be offered with the 2015 Ford Mustang, with the V-6 producing 305HP and the V-8 making 420HP. Transmissions will also continue to remain the same, until the 10-speed automatic transmission (currently being developed) becomes an option in a couple of years. After the vehicle is launched, Ford will offer powertrain upgrades to pony car drivers, and the GT-badged Mustang will produce 500HP.

2015 Ford Mustang Will Be Revealed in December

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - For all the pony car lovers waiting anxiously for the release of the 2015 Ford Mustang, the wait is (almost) over. It has been announced that the 2015 Ford Mustang will be revealed in December, one month before the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Rumors were circulating across the internet that the 2015 Ford Mustang wouldn't debut until the Detroit Auto Show in January, or possibly even later at the 50th anniversary in April. Now it is being reported that the 2015 Ford Mustang will be formally revealed in December.

However, Ford will be giving a special preview of the 2015 pony car at Ford's headquarters next week in Dearborn. Before you get too excited, the preview will only be open to a select few members of the automotive press - and even they will be sworn to secrecy until the big reveal later this year.

As for what to expect from the new Ford Mustang, it's believed that it will be completely redesigned with a new rear-wheel drive platform, a new exterior and interior design, will weigh less than the current model, and will also have an EcoBoost turbo four-cylinder engine option - wow!

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- Not that we need to tell you again, considering it's only one of the hottest topics in the automotive world, but the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang is fast approaching! In between all the rumors and leaked bits of information, we're finally getting our best look yet at the next generation 'Stang in the latest close up 2015 Ford Mustang spy photos!

It's been reported that the 50th anniversary pony car may take inspiration from the 2011 Ford Evos Concept Car, and these close up 2015 Ford Mustang spy photos reveal that the Mustang will indeed take styling cues from the concept! Though, it is expected that the new model will remain roughly the same size as the current model.

The 2015 Mustang will receive an independent rear suspension, and for the first time since the 1980 SVO Mustang, it will be offered with turbocharging (EcoBoost). While both turbo four-cylinder and six-cylinders are expected, it wouldn't be surprising if the automaker also offered a V8.

Since production of the next-gen Mustang is expected to begin in the summer of 2014, it's likely that we will start to see more prototypes roaming around town. Leaked 2015 Mustang Shots Spark Debate

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- Photos of full-sized clay models suspected to be of the 2015 Ford Mustang have surfaced all over the web in advance of Ford Motor Company’s release. The photos are prompting all kinds of speculation by Mustang-devotees about what direction the design and engine configuration will be on the sixth-generation version.

The photos feature four clay models shot evocatively behind a poster of an unknown Ford prototype, arousing debate over whether the poster foreshadows the 2015 Mustang or a different model.  The pictures have aroused comparisons with some of the classic Mustangs; although, if they are similar to the final design, the lines should appear quite modern.

The design of the much-anticipated 2015 model is not the only aspect that has sparked considerable buzz—there is also controversy surrounding the rumored four-cylinder engine option and whether it is going to be offered in the U.S. market or European markets. 

Whichever way the designers at Ford decide to go, you can expect the finished product of the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang to be on the circuit in 2014, possibly showing its face around the middle of April.

2015 Ford Mustang: Turbocharged Four-Cylinder?

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- Rumors regarding the all new 2015 Ford Mustang have been floating around the web, but no real facts about what the new 'Stang will look like or offer have been confirmed. However, it looks like there may have been a breakthrough this afternoon! Recently, it has been reported that the next generation would bring a Turbocharged Four-Cylinder 2015 Ford Mustang, just not to the U.S., but it looks like that has changed!

It appears that the 2015 Ford Mustang with Turbocharged Four-Cylinder Engine is in fact coming to the United States. The new 2.3-liter engine would most likely offer about 300 horsepower which is close to the current V6 model. However, we could see a higher power output since the next generation pony is thought to be a step up from the current base model. While the current Ford Mustang already offers and impressive 19/31 mpg, the new turbocharged engine's low-rpm torque and greater efficiency could offer improved fuel economy. Better fuel economy may also stem from a little weight loss from the current Mustang's 3,500 pound weight.
