Mustang Enthusiasts Gather to Participate in Anniversary Celebration

ST. CLAIRE SHORES, Mich. — Mustang Enthusiasts Gather to Participate in the Anniversary Celebration of the Ford Mustang on April 16th through the 20th. Fans representing 16 countries from around the world will come together in the United States to celebrate 50 years of the Ford Mustang with ride-and-drives, exhibits, live bands and more!

Ford Mustang's 50th Anniversary celebration will be so large that Ford Motor Company and Mustang Club of America needed two locations to hold the event! This massive celebration will be hosted at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway simultaneously. It is encouraged that the more the merrier, no need to be a Mustang owner or MCA member to attend the event! The MCA has arranged “Pony Drives” so Mustang drivers can venture to either of the two events together in organized groups. Some international participants are even shipping their pony cars to the United States so that they are able to join in the drive to the Mustang festivities.

The milestone celebration will be an experience participants will remember forever, and Ford Motor Company decided to make it extra special by announcing that they will be offering the 2015 Mustang globally for the very first time! Fans from all over the world will be able to see the latest model at both the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Last Vegas Motor Speedway events next month.

The iconic pony car has touched the lives of so many individuals that representatives from the following countries will be joining in on the celebration: United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Italy and the United Kingdom. Stern Pinball Celebrates 50 Years of Ford Mustang

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich— Stern Pinball celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang by doing what they do best, pinball. Stern, the largest producer of pinball games in the world, has created three Mustang-themed games, set to debut at the Chicago Auto Show February 6th and 7th.

On February 6 and 7th, attendees of the Chicago Auto Show will be able to enjoy these pro-level pinball games first hand. The machines will feature Mustangs from the past five decades in the premium and special limited-editions. Players will be able to take a virtual cruise in the Mustang Boss 302, 351, and 429 in the premium edition of the game, while the special limited-edition model will feature the 1965 and all-new 2015 Ford Mustang.

Both versions of the game have the perfect combination of classic pinball features and modern technology. Players will endure racing, rallying, drifting and road racing shots in an effort to get the highest score; complete with authentic Mustang sounds to execute the full driving experience.

Players of the popular "Need for Speed Rivals" video game are given the first chance to get behind the wheel of the all-new Ford Mustang before it hits the real streets next year. Just a few days after the new Ford Mustang, which is loaded with innovative technologies and world-class levels of performance, was revealed around the world, it now appears in the garage of cars available to drive on the "Need for Speed Rivals" video game.

The Mustang has been featured as a playable car in this video game franchise since 2005 and has continued to make a huge impact on various aspects of pop culture. The Mustang has made thousands of appearances in movies, television, music, and is the world's most-liked vehicle on Facebook. Need for Speed players are also able to give the Ford Shelby GT500 a spin in the video game, which is available as a police chase car.

Ford worked closely with the EA development team when engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before it debuted to the rest of the world. Computer design models were used so the game developers were able to create an accurate representation of the new Mustang before it went on sale. Need for Speed Rivals is available for the Playstation®4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the PC via Origin worldwide. ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- The next generation 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang has already captured our attention, and frankly has us and gear-heads all over the world obsessed with its upcoming debut. And while the web is buzzing with rumors surrounding the iconic muscle car, recent news suggests that we may be surprised by a 2015 Ford Mustang Early Release Date!

If the artistic renderings of the 2015 Mustang just aren't cutting it anymore for you, don't worry, the 2015 Ford Mustang Early Release Date may come as soon as the spring of next year. Which actually isn't that surprising if you consider the legacy of the Mustang. The Ford Mustang was a rule breaker from the start, the first model arrived in the Spring of 1964 when almost all other vehicles were released in the fall. So far, all we've heard is speculation surrounding the iconic muscle car's performance and specifications. As we thought, the 2015 Ford Mustang Spy Shots confirm that the next generation will remain similar in size to the current model, but with a lower profile and possibly a wider track. 49th Anniversary Of The Ford Mustang

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- On today's date, 49 years ago, in 1974 the very first Ford Mustang made its debut in New York at the World's Fair! Unexpected and unusual styling for its day, Ford's Product Planning Manager knew the new vehicle was going to be a hit after Ford employees were impressed by the design during a sneak peek.

Starting at just $2,368, the requests for the new Ford vehicle started pouring into dealers. At its debut, Ford Motor Company had forecasted that sales would total about 100,000 annually. However, after 22,000 orders were placed for the pony car on the very first day it was for sale, that prediction proved to be low. The Ford Mustang's appearance on the race track as the pace car for the 1964 Indianapolis 500 encouraged sales even further to 417,000 vehicles in just 12 months. And it didn't stop there, the 'Stang skyrocketed to one million vehicles sold by the second year!

“When the Mustang was unveiled, the reaction was so positive that there was no doubt it was going to be a success,” recalls Joe Oros, chief designer of Ford’s original pony car.

Leaked 2015 Mustang Shots Spark Debate

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- Photos of full-sized clay models suspected to be of the 2015 Ford Mustang have surfaced all over the web in advance of Ford Motor Company’s release. The photos are prompting all kinds of speculation by Mustang-devotees about what direction the design and engine configuration will be on the sixth-generation version.

The photos feature four clay models shot evocatively behind a poster of an unknown Ford prototype, arousing debate over whether the poster foreshadows the 2015 Mustang or a different model. The pictures have aroused comparisons with some of the classic Mustangs; although, if they are similar to the final design, the lines should appear quite modern.

The design of the much-anticipated 2015 model is not the only aspect that has sparked considerable buzz—there is also controversy surrounding the rumored four-cylinder engine option and whether it is going to be offered in the U.S. market or European markets.

Whichever way the designers at Ford decide to go, you can expect the finished product of the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang to be on the circuit in 2014, possibly showing its face around the middle of April.

2015 Ford Mustang: Turbocharged Four-Cylinder?

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- Rumors regarding the all new 2015 Ford Mustang have been floating around the web, but no real facts about what the new 'Stang will look like or offer have been confirmed. However, it looks like there may have been a breakthrough this afternoon! Recently, it has been reported that the next generation would bring a Turbocharged Four-Cylinder 2015 Ford Mustang, just not to the U.S., but it looks like that has changed!

It appears that the 2015 Ford Mustang with Turbocharged Four-Cylinder Engine is in fact coming to the United States. The new 2.3-liter engine would most likely offer about 300 horsepower which is close to the current V6 model. However, we could see a higher power output since the next generation pony is thought to be a step up from the current base model. While the current Ford Mustang already offers and impressive 19/31 mpg, the new turbocharged engine's low-rpm torque and greater efficiency could offer improved fuel economy. Better fuel economy may also stem from a little weight loss from the current Mustang's 3,500 pound weight.
