ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- Not that we need to tell you again, considering it's only one of the hottest topics in the automotive world, but the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang is fast approaching! In between all the rumors and leaked bits of information, we're finally getting our best look yet at the next generation 'Stang in the latest
close up 2015 Ford Mustang spy photos!
It's been reported that the 50th anniversary pony car may take inspiration from the 2011 Ford Evos Concept Car, and these close up 2015 Ford Mustang spy photos reveal that the Mustang will indeed take styling cues from the concept! Though, it is expected that the new model will remain roughly the same size as the current model.
The 2015 Mustang will receive an independent rear suspension, and for the first time since the 1980 SVO Mustang, it will be offered with turbocharging (EcoBoost). While both turbo four-cylinder and six-cylinders are expected, it wouldn't be surprising if the automaker also offered a V8.
Since production of the next-gen Mustang is expected to begin in the summer of 2014, it's likely that we will start to see more prototypes roaming around town. But if you want to be one of the last lucky 5th generation Mustang owners, stop by our
