Made In Michigan's Miles for Meals 5k

We are proud to present the Miles for Meals 5k. The race will take place at the St. Clair Shores Civic Arena on Saturday, September 20th.This race will raise funds for the St. Clair Shores Senior Center for Active Adults Congregate Meal Program.

Along with the race, the festival will also have food trucks, live entertainment, a BBQ contest and a beer garden. What more can you ask for? If you aren't a runner, we invite you to join us for all of the fun activites that will be going on. See you all there!

Saleen Reveals Special Edition Ford Mustang Plans

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich.- At Concours d'Elegance over this past weekend, Steve Saleen took us back in time to 1969 with his special Mustang announcement. In honor of the best golden era SCCA Trans-Am racing drivers, Saleen revealed plans to develop three special edition Ford Mustangs!

Best known for his work customizing engine-revving aftermarket Mustangs, Steve Saleen is a performance pioneer. He pleased Trans-Am racing fans and gear heads alike over the weekend when his plans to honor three of the golden era's driving heroes hit headlines. The first special edition Mustang donned a super sleek paint job that imitated driver George Fullmer's Boss 302. Saleen also revealed that the two additional special edition models will honor 1970 heroes, Mark Donohue and Swede Savage.

Just 250 of each special edition model will be created, honoring the 250 miles that were in a Trans-Am race. One of the significant features planned for the vehicles are outlines of the old Riverside, California race track and Laguna Seca race track under the driver and passenger side floor mats!

During his announcement, Steve Saleen noted that he excepts fans who love Mustangs, Camaros, and Plymouth Barracudas to enjoy these special models. And those fans willing to pony up the $74,999 price tag could be lucky enough to own one of the powerful 500 horsepower cars.
