ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - Ford has worked hard to create a new police vehicle that is focused on improving gas mileage.. and boy, has it succeeded! In fact, Ford's Special Service Police Sedan has been named the most fuel-efficient police vehicle sold in the U.S.!

This special service police vehicle combines the durability of the Police Interceptor with the fuel efficiency of the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. With an EPA-estimated rating of 30 mpg on the highway, the vehicle is designed to help detectives, administrators, campus police and law enforcement agents get better gas mileage. Since their positions typically don't require them to go on a high-speed chase after a perp, it makes more sense for them to have vehicles that are designed for efficiency as opposed to power.

When looking at a fleet as large as 150 vehicles, police agencies easily spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on gas alone. With these special service vehicles, it is estimated that when driven 30,000 miles per year with gas prices at $3.21 a gallon, these vehicles could save agencies approximately $257,940 over the course of three years - wow!

Along with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, the new Special Service Police sedan also comes with Active Grille Shutters that help control the airflow in the vehicle in order to optimize the balance between engine cooling and aerodynamics. 2014 Ford Fiesta Features New Styling and Technology

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. -  Small cars : you either love them or hate them. We personally love them - especially the 2014 Ford Fiesta! This updated model features new styling and technology - all of which is enough to make even the opposers love this small compact car.

First up is the 2014 Ford Fiesta's engine options. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is currently the vehicle's only choice, however, an EcoBoost option will be added soon. The standard 2014 Ford Fiesta's engine produces 120 HP and 112 lb.-ft. of torque, which allows the Ford to get 29 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway with the automatic transmission.

Although the drivetrain has been left alone, the 2014 Ford Fiesta is seeing some major cosmetic and technology updates. Starting with looks, the new model's grille and front-end treatment have undergone an update, as it appears designers took styling cues from the Ford Fusion and Ford Focus for the new Fiesta's face.

As for the new technology, the 2014 Ford Fiesta will offer a 6.5-inch touch screen showing MyFord Touch. This interface allows you to navigate, accept calls, play music, and more - all hands free! It also offers phone and MP3 device connectivity with voice command - something that is unmatched by other cars. The Sony audio upgrade is another addition that you'll love with this tiny car.

Custom Ford Fiesta STs Steal the Show at SEMA

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - Ford pulled out the big guns at SEMA 2013, with a massive 57-vehicle showcase that covered over 27,000 square feet of exhibit space. Among the huge display, a few tiny-yet-powerful Fords captured the attention of passerby - custom Ford Fiesta STs steal the show at SEMA.

There were several Ford Fiesta STs on display, with a few standing out more than the others - the first being the COBB Tuning and Tanner Foust Racing Fiesta ST that is pictured above. Painted with a gray and black camouflage, the vehicle comes with a three-inch exhaust and a cold-air intake, along with a Kicker stereo and more. This Fiesta ST was designed to raise awareness about the Pat Tillman Foundation - a foundation that provides resources and educational scholarship support to veterans, active service-members and their spouses.

Another Fiesta ST that was basking in the spotlight is the Forza Motorsport 5 Fiesta ST. This vehicle has a two-tone paint job and was modified to be a high-performance vehicle. Along with a high-performance exhaust system, this ST also has a COBB induction system, Steeda brakes, and more. Even with all the performance upgrades, we have to say that we are loving the color combination the most (see below).

The Boss 302 inspired Fiesta ST was another favorite, with bright paint and black accents. The designers of this Fiesta ST, 3dCarbon, stuck with the color theme throughout the entire vehicle, bringing the orange and black into the cabin. The ST was also given a body kit from 3dCarbon and Air Design that gives the vehicle a deeper front air dam, a rear diffuser, a bigger spoiler, and more. Unfortunately, most of the upgrades done to this specific Fiesta ST are only aesthetic.
