Loren's 5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

Loren has been working at Roy O'Brien Ford for 8 years now. He has some great recipes up his sleeve, but this one is a family favorite. Chocolate cake in 5 minutes, what is there to not love about it! We hope that you enjoy this recipe.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 2 minutes

Ready in: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

• 4 tablespoons flour
• 4 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons milk
• 3 tablespoons oil
• 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

• Directions:

1. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
2. Add dry ingredients to a large coffee mug and mix well.
3. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
4. Pour in the milk and oil. Mix well.
5. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
6. ENJOY!
