revealed the 2015 model of the best-selling nameplate earlier
this week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the world's
largest exhibition for the mobile industry. The 2015 Ford Focus
showcased its competitive efficiency, redesigned style, and advanced
technologies that improve driver comfort and safety!
The 2015 Focus will take drivers on a
whole new road with its award-winning 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine and
six-speed transmission. Once again, the 2015 Focus will surpass the
efficiency of the previous models and raise the bar for the
competition. The 1.0-liter EcoBoost proves that fuel efficiency and
excellent performance can coexist, making the new Focus fun and
enjoyable while saving you money at the gas pump. Already on five
nameplates in Europe, the world cannot get enough of the 1.0-liter
EcoBoost engine. The demand has increased so much that Ford has
doubled production capacity at their plant in Cologne, Germany to
more than 1,000 engines a day.
The new Focus sports a stylish and
modern look from the outside in. Its redesigned exterior features a
restyled hood, grille, and trunk lid. The completely revised
interior has a modern, clean look, with satin chrome detailing and
new seat trims. Not to mention, there will be an available heated steering wheel!
Storage is also improved with a new center console and easy-to-access
glove box.
Driver assist technologies make it even
more convenient for Focus drivers to stay safe while out on the road,
allowing them to utilize the rearview camera, BLIS®, and
lane-keeping system all on the 4.2-inch screen—8-inch if it's a
MyFord Touch-equipped vehicle. New Focus drivers will also get the
advantage of accessing new functions and features with the enhanced
SYNC AppLink. More than 60 AppLink-enabled apps are available for
download for Android and iOS smartphone owners!
